Jacqueline Raynor Sets All-Time Wins Record with 166th Career Victory in 7-0 Sweep of Monmouth

West Long Branch, New Jersey – Jacqueline Raynor (Garden City, New York) became the all-time wins leader in Quinnipiac women's tennis history as she won her 166th career match Saturday afternoon in Quinnipiac women's tennis' 7-0 sweep over the Monmouth Hawks Saturday afternoon.

The Bobcats finished the regular season undefeated in the MAAC for the second consecutive as they finished 12-8 (8-0 MAAC) while the Hawks drop to 3-14 (2-4 MAAC) with two more conference games to play.

Raynor tied Stephanie Petrycki's program record of 165 career wins with a doubles victory to start the match and then broke the record with a singles victory to end the match. Raynor's two victories also extended her winning streak to 21 straight victories. Along with setting the career wins record, Raynor also set the single-season wins record with her 45th victory of the season, breaking the record set by Stephanie Arahovites in 2002 and tied by Juliet Labarthe in 2011 and Raynor in 2014.

It was yet another dominating victory for the Bobcats as they didn't lose a single match and only dropped one set all day against the Hawks.

Raynor and Dassa won their 81st victory together in the doubles portion of the match as they defeated Adriana Armendariz and Ashley Sandler, 8-0, which got Raynor to tie the wins records. Sydney Young (Austin, Texas) and Rachel Horton (Stamford, Connecticut) teamed up at No. 2 doubles to cruise past Farrah Smoke and Kendal Kauffman, 8-3, while Sophia Dzulynsky (Miramar, Florida) and Sitilia Rencheli (Sarasota, Florida) won in commanding fashion over Chioma Gabriel and Sarah Turner, 8-1.

Singles play gave Raynor her record setting victory as she defeated Sandler in No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-1. Young picked up a straight set victory of her own as she eased by Smoke, 6-3, 6-0. No. 4 through No. 6 singles did not allow a single point as they each won their matches 6-0, 6-0. Horton defeated Kauffman while Dassa blitzed passed Gabriel and Ariana Launie (Milton, Massachusetts) started her match with the easy win over Turner. Dzulynsky was the only Bobcat to play a three-set singles match as she came back to win, 4-6, 6-2, 10-2.
