RADNOR, Pennsylvania – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse student-athlete Carmen French (Lutherville, Md.) earned a selection to the 74th United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/LaxWorld North-South Games, announced by the committee on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.
The 74th USILA/LaxWorld North-South Games will be played at Cabrini College, Radnor, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 22, 2015. The Division III All-Star game will be held at 3:00 p.m. and the Division I/II All-Star game will be held at 5:30 p.m.
French registered a career season athletically for the Bobcats in 2015. He posted career highs in ground balls (32), caused turnovers (21), and starts in a season (15).
He finished second in the MAAC in caused turnovers per game (1.47) while ranking 24th nationally among NCAA Division I players. As a team, Quinnipiac finished second in the MAAC in caused turnovers and third in ground balls per game.
The achievement is one of many for the Lutherville, Md. native, as just a few days earlier he was named USILA Scholar All-America. Additionally, French earned a selection to the All-MAAC First Team at the annual banquet before the MAAC Tournament. This all followed a MAAC Conference Second Team selection last year.
